FAQ

Before You Start Collecting,
These Are the Questions We Hear Most.

What documents are required to open an account?

Normally a business license, legal-representative identity and trade-background materials. Requirements vary by entity type — limited company, sole proprietor or partnership — so we pre-review everything before you submit.

Can we collect without import/export rights?

Most platforms require genuine trade backgrounds but do not force companies to obtain import/export rights first. Settlement declarations still follow regulation, so tell us your entity type and trade model before opening to avoid detours.

How is the FX rate calculated? Can we lock rates?

Rates generally follow the platform’s offshore / onshore real-time reference FX, which is transparent. Some platforms support scheduled settlement, rate locking or forward FX management for larger rate-sensitive clients. Function availability varies.

How long until funds reach our RMB account?

It depends on the route. Local accounts and local clearing are usually faster than traditional wire transfers — sometimes minutes to tens of minutes. Cross-border wires depend on intermediary banks. We set expectations before opening.

Can we use two or three platforms at once?

Yes. Many companies run a primary account plus backups by market: the primary handles major currencies and daily settlement, while backups cover local currencies or unusual buyer payment habits. Accounts do not conflict; we clarify rules and costs for you.

Are channel rates lower than registering directly?

Channel clients can often apply for tiered or customized rates based on real business volume — one reason to work through a channel. The outcome depends on your entity, business size and the platform’s current policy, and requires verifiable records.
